Lochbach
Enjoy on the "Extra Tour Lochbachpfad", awarded by the German Hiking Institute, an approx. 8.5 km long hike through a picturesque torrent gorge, on meadow paths with wild orchids and wide views over the Knüllgebirge to the Kellerwald. Also ideal for inexperienced hikers and families. Tip: Lochbachklamm, section of the Lochbach path between Wallenstein and Hülsa, a lovely Waldbachklamm on a beaten path to the right and left along the stream over footbridges and bridges with benches and picnic facilities over a distance of 1.3 km.Knüll Wildlife Park
Well-signposted circular routes with a total length of 4.5 kilometers lead through the 50 hectare wildlife park. 40 different animal species can be observed in the enclosures, gates and on the grounds. Red deer, fallow deer and sika deer as well as wild sheep (mouflons) move freely in the park!
Look forward to wolves, bears, wild horses, bison, lynxes, eagle owls, wild cats and many other animal species. Experience, observe, understand and protect nature, you will find out all this in the nature center.
